New Roommate

Living by myself has always presented a challenge from a cost perspective. Although I could have afforded it, to save money I have not had cable or internet or a home phone. Now that I’ve moved in to a bigger house I’m thinking about looking for a roommate. I know I’ll have to give up some privacy and it will take some compromise living with someone else but with the added income I’m looking forward to subscribing to television service and finding internet service around Buffalo, NY for my home. I believe that with the income I get from a roommate plus splitting the cost of the utilities I can still make a little extra money even after covering the added cost of additional services. Plus, I’m not sure it would look very appealing to a potential roommate that the house does not have cable and internet. Hopefully the new roommate will have a cell phone and I won’t need to get a home phone. But, I do realize that not everyone is like me and as happy reading a book as they are watching reality television.
